Aghasi Mkhitaryan was born on April 6th, 1987 in Armenia, Yerevan. He graduated from N185 school in Yerevan. During his school years, he also attended the vocal center musical school after Alexander Spendaryan. In 2003 he entered the State University of Conservatory after Komitas where he studied folk music. He graduated in 2008. After that, he served in the Armenian army for 2 years. 

In 2010 he recorded his first song "Tesel Em qez" which was released with a music video. Soon he started releasing cover songs of famous Armenian singers. The first song was "Havatum Em"  by Sirusho. Aghasi became famous mainly with his cover songs. "Es em Horinel" "Mi Patmutyun" "De Gna" and many other songs received millions of views on Youtube. In 2012 Aghasi release a new music video on his song " Chem Moranum" written by Mane Hakobyan. In 2019 Aghasi moved to live in the USA. Later in 2021, he released his new song "Erku Sirt" with a music video. The director of the video is Arthur Manukyan. This was his first song and video after he moved to USA. Currently, Aghasi is working on his new songs which will be released soon.
